BFCA divulga a lista de indicados ao 17° Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards

A BFCA (Broadcast Film Critics Association) acaba de divulgar a lista de indicados ao 17° Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards (Prêmio Anual Escolha dos Críticos, em tradução livre). Lideram as indicações o filme A Invenção de Hugo Cabret (Hugo, 2011), uma parceria entre GK Films e Paramount com direção de Martin Scorcese e o filme francês The Artist (sem título em português, 2011), dirigido por Michel Hazanavicius, e que já havia sido apontado como o melhor filme do ano pelo Círculo de Críticos Cinematográficos de Nova York.

Com 250 membros, a BFCA é a maior organização de críticos dos EUA, e costuma ser o grande termômetro para as previsões sobre os ganhadores do Oscar, premiação mais importante do circuito americano. A cerimônia de premiação do Critics Choice Movie Award (CCMA) acontece no dia 12 de janeiro. 

Ano passado, todos os quatros vencedores das principais categorias de interpretação do CCMA - melhor ator, atriz e coadjuvantes - ganharam também o Oscar. As únicas categorias mais importantes não-coincidentes foram as de melhor filme e melhor diretor, quando A Rede Social ganhou as duas pelo CCMA mas perdeu em ambas no Oscar para O Discurso do Rei.
